About the opportunity:

We are seeking an energetic and talented SRE/ Software Engineer to collaborate with development, QA, operations, application support and infrastructure teams to ensure quality and availability throughout the development pipeline.

Responsibilities:

The Coordination team develops and operates highly-available, large-scale foundational services that are used by almost every engineer to build higher-level distributed applications.

Provide robust control plane infrastructure for the client that serves use cases such as distributed coordination, service
discovery, topology management, and configuration management.

elp in the security and privacy commitments

Develop tools and processes to secure the Git-based configuration management system to help client remain compliant with security and privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications:

Strong hands-on software development (coding) experience.
Experience with developer workflows and software engineering best practices (e.g. unit
testing, code reviews, design documentation)
Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
Experience with developing and scripting using languages such as Python/Java and Bash
Experience using source control systems such as Git, Perforce, SVN, etc.
Familiarity with basics of the Linux operating system and ecosystem (cron, systemd,
etc)
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate requirements and deliverables
across multiple teams

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with build tools such as Pants and Bazel is a bonus
